Mexico City and Contagion

CDMX x VIH x IA: An Involved Way of Research

A summary of my experience in the
University of Florida: Summer Undergraduate International Research Program
(SUIRP) 2022

CDMX x VIH x IA is a research project sited in Mexico City (CDMX) that investigates the accessibility to the HIV providers (VIH) by laying the groundwork for future artificial intelligence implementation (IA).  The goal of the summer was to initiate the research by understanding its theoretical framework, methodology, and begin mapping contagion, inequality, and accessibility. The project questions how available HIV service providers in Mexico City are in a spatiotemporal measure of movement in the built environment, specifically using the metro system.
